Bump Out Addition

This project involved adding a master bathroom and an exercise room onto an existing master bedroom. The exterior needed to integrate and look original to the rest of the house, and a little extra excavation allowed for a large storage room below. Original windows became doorways, husband and wife each got their own vanities, feet were warmed with under-floor radiant heat, and custom mirrors were constructed with tile to match the Jacuzzi tub platform. A corner shower and separate water closet stall rounded out a full bathroom. The adjacent exercise room has access from the main house or the bathroom, and exercise equipment can now be used with views of the surrounding woods.
